Why does 3/4 of that looks as though Antonov had a hand in its design ?

'Cos the wings are on the top, and Antonov are the only people who do airliners like that these days.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I asked my engineer, and she does not know any bear with the name "Antonov". Does not sound very Swedish at all... <_<

I am now masking the aircraft of its final paint. Looks more or less complete now, except the additional jet engines.

If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

@McColm : as this is the "Bad Idea GB", it should look ugly.... :)


Adding the underwing engines and adding some aluminum color.


Basic painting is done, now lets go to the details and decals.

All four engines are added now, and some of the decals as well. Only the landing gear is missing. I hope its ugly enough for a "Bad Idea" :)



So its time to think about a background story for it.
