Weeeeelllllll, I was going to start with the 1103 and 1116 and try to make the design modular in order to cover both, but I guess a third variant should be doable. But after I finish the P.17D/PD.17 I'm in the middle of designing. And also after I pull my finger out and make the P.8 conversion available. And maybe finish a couple of things on my workbench. Er, did I mention I need to finish renovating our bedroom and the bathroom too?

I really need to win the lottery.....

Received today from a crowd called "Black Ops Models" out of Sydney;

3 x sets .50 cal Modern Ammo Cans
3 x sets 7.62mm NATO Modern Ammo Cans
3 x sets 7.62mm NATO & .50 cal Ammo Belts & Flexible Feed Chutes

They look very nice ... but the Ammo Belts & Feed Chutes are rather fragile (two broke when I was opening the packets to put them into their storage drawers(?))

(bottom row, middle right-side unit)

What mess?

For those of us who build in 1/35, they have a LOT of interesting bits & pieces!

So that's the Wombat Gun Safe eh?

Funny isn't it how a paint restock always seems to arrive accompanied by at least one new model kit...

...or in this case two.

From Frontline Hobbies (North of the Border) I received today a Tamiya 20mm Flakvierling and a Tamiya Cromwell.  Both 1/48.
Guns will probably go onto a Stuart hull while the Cromwell might look rather nice in the Caunter Scheme.  Cromwell is one of their heavier models - the lower hull is die cast metal.  They do this to give the finished model "heft".  Not sure why it needs this.  IMO a die cast metal lower hull does nothing but make it very hard to carry out any whiffing involving cutting that area.

I'm finally back home from Perth and a tour of Scotland. Good show at which I bought a few kits.

1/144 Pit Road Su-57
1/144 Dragon J-20 PLA Stealth Fighter
1/144 Trumpeter Chinese J-20 Mighty Dragon

1/72 Academy T-50 Advanced Trainer. South Korean machine that closely resembles an F-16. It's a snap together kit and I built it in 30 minutes. Needs a little adjustment to the nose area but otherwise it's very good. Would get some more if they were the right price.

1/72 Airfix MDD Phantom FG.1.  Bargain price of £15 in the kitswap  ;D   I will not be using all 310 of the tiny decals  :o

Rick Lowe

A set of 1/72 NASA markings for a TSR.2 - thanks, Alastair!

Now to figure out what they'll go on... but there's no rush, I'll let the idea percolate for a while.

There's the fact that sometime ago, somehow i bought a set of Aires resin 1/72 30mm DEFA cannons for the Fujimi Scooters and didn't have one to use them on... not that it would be impossible to use them on something else... don't forget that the small aftermarket bits needed something else to justify the postage costs...
