"My paint supply just got bigger" would be more appropriate for this post. I needed a specific colour for the Nakajima G10 that I am building and I could not find an equivalent paint in my stock. So onto the web and I find that Kent Models.co.uk has exactly the paint specified in the instructions, and they offer next day delivery at a really good price! So this is what arrived this morning.

The paint guides will be useful as well, the sweets will be given away though. Total cost, £5.99! I think I may end up shopping with them again.

I did think it was sweet of them to send them.

After managing to reduce my blood/sugar levels to near normal by cutting out nearly all sweets, I am definitely going to pass them on especially as they are aimed at kids. One of my neighbours has a granddaughter visit her so that is who shall get them.

🧐

It possibly did ? Some small breweries still do put some special occaision brews into wooden casks, rather than aluminium. I doubt if it's in there long enough to effect the taste or colour though ?
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Innis & Gunn still does it in wood, and I love it.

The beers produced around here that are put up in wooden barrels definitely pick up
the flavour of the barrel, but that's because they're using barrels previously used
for whiskey/whisky/bourbon/rye. Most often stouts and porters, but the occasional
IPA and all of higher alcohol content, 9.5 to 14+%. I've seen wine barreled browns,
stouts, sours and Belgian style beers. I recently had a port barrel finished chocolate
stout and it was wonderful.
Rogue Brewing in Oregon has Dead 'N' Dead, their Mai-bock style Dead Guy Ale aged
on chips of the oak barrels used for their Dead Guy Whiskey. Strong and tasty.

As do Madame Rheged and I. I&G  use malt whisky casks.

My apologies! On researching, I find that you're absolutely corrrect. However, in my defence, the company has been half based in Denmark since the mid 1940's.

Ah, well. Still top quality wine gums. Despite being German..  ;)
