Cheers to all concerned for their efforts!

I hope that what is in the packet all made sense.

Yup, it did.

And having measured this morning, to my delight my enlargement of the single- into a 2-place 'pit was exactly the correct length - a fluke, but I'll take it!  ;)

Yeah, kind of made you buy the Shackleton 😂

My own haul from the London (not ON) show?  A £2 (yes! A whole £2!!)  bagged FROG Blenheim sans instructions/decals.  It looks like FROG plastic rather than NOVO, etc, also flash-free.

Very likely to become a RW Blenheim PR.II, with the already stashed NOVO Blenheim now probably contributing to whiffery.

   ;D

My own haul at the London show was an Airfix 1/76 Buffalo and jeep. It's for the amphibious/amphibian GB. Recent "Classics" release rather than second hand and the moulding is remarkably crisp considering its age   also seems to be in a different shade of green plastic if memory serves.

Also a pot of Tamiya Extra Thin, which despite having the cap screwed down tightly still managed to stink my bag out and got me some rather strange looks on a rather crowded train home. I reckon one young "gentleman" was preparing to make me an offer for it at one point

I have some etch that's intended for the Frog kit I'll never use - yours if you want it. And I'll cast some wheels when I get some resin.

IIRC, the actual prototype for the PR Blenheim had clipped wings and Rotol spinners, although they're not fitted in the few photos.  The Frog plastic is thick enough to withstand sanding to the new profile.

It's one I did twenty years ago, although mine went in overall PRU Blue.  Not sure where it is...

Cheers Lee.  If you mean the Airwaves set I already have a couple, but thanks for the offer.

Yeah, saw those picks (and downloaded them) a while ago.  I'd be interested to see your take on the PR.II.

No, it's the etch from the old Co-operativa release of ye olde Frog kit - KP are rereleasing it now, how many more boxings is this relic going to get?  - which I think is specifically designed to actually fit the Frog kit.  Unlike Airwaves that sort of approximated and then fought you every step of the way.  There's also an Aeroclub canopy too.  I'll sort through the Blenheim bits box and put together a package.

My take?  Basically the photos but in PRU Blue and with spinners.  Think it got national markings and a serial but nothing else.  Really should redo it, but I think I've done everything with Blenheims that I actually wanted to do. Whifwise anyway.  The one that I really like to do, the V... Well, the MPM kit was both horrible to build and wrong in many places.

Scored myself a 35th Tamiya Marder 1A2 yesterday ,, after watching a vid on the tube of you from Wes O Donnell on the likely hood  of Ukraine getting their hands on 30 Marder 1A3;s from Chile i had an idea for a Marder 1 A4 2ith a serious firepower upgrade along with a serious electronics upgrade too .
I liked this idea so much i had to hunt down a Marder 1 kit and the Tamiya one was the easiest to find ..the Revell one didn't even come up in the search  :o
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .

I have two - the idea is to bash them together & create a bigger version for a sci-fi idea I have.

A couple of bits and bobs, all in 1/72

IBG masking sets for their own Spitfire Mk 1 and IAR 80. The Spitfire set has enough for their Mk 1, Mk V and early PR canopies by the looks of it, although the instructions require some study.

Yahu instrument panels for the IBG Spitfire Mk 1 (early) and IAR 80.

I have two cheapo ones in 48th by Zhengdefu: the only company who can make a kit of a troop carrier and forget to give it a tail ramp. I don't mean an opening one, I mean any one: there's no sign of a ramp on the one-piece back plate... :o

Fortunately I didn't care since it was for a cut'n'shut sci-fi job anyway.
