Arrived today with the upgrade sherman tracks, Trumpeter M26(T26E3) Pershing heavy tank. The turret off this might be getting borrowed for my sherman build, unless I get creative with the original one.

I should have said that I bought them in the Black Friday Sale. They were the only things they had that interested me enough.

I've been told this is down to how the delivery trucks are packed prior to their daily runs to ensure there's no "wasted" space. Understandable? Yes. Logically solved? Not in the slightest...  :unsure:

Inspired by a fine looking pair of spats on a build here, I put in a lowball bid on a Williams Bros. Northrop Gamma and it arrived yesterday.  No immediate ideas for it, you pack of enablers!

Finally arrived!  :party:

Quote from: Old Wombat on October 17, 2025, 07:08:26 AMJust ordered direct from Special Hobby in Czechia / the Czech Republic;

1 x CMK 1/48 Czechoslovak pilot (1938) with a parachute - A bit of an after-thought after I'd decided to buy the kit below,I have enough 1/48 Czech pre-occupation aircraft that a pilot won't go astray
1 x Special Hobby (HML) 1/48 Focke-Wulf Fw 187A-0 Falke - Highly likely to end up in markings for a BoB Bf.109 squadron, which will be countered by my 1/48 Whirlwind ending up in BoB Spitfire squadron markings,  :wacko:

Like the 187 idea. Going to go single seat ?

Yup! Direct correlation to the Bf.109, only twin-engined.

From what I've found, the Fw.187 & Whirlwind, like the Bf.109 & the Spitfire, are very close in their performance figures.

So a pilot who can fly to his aircraft's strengths, even only slightly better than his opponent, is more likely to win a dogfight.

PS: Having had a better look at the kit, it only comes as the two-seater but then looking at photo's of the various single-seater prototypes shows that there is at least one which is a relatively easy conversion from the SH two-seater,
