The Wooksta!

The bulk of the Telford acquisitions have been tucked away in the loft, the Mosquitoes I doubled up to save on space for the journey back have been given new boxes, using ones I had left over from the 15 I finished last week.  They also helped with the part started ones that arrived earlier.

I also found that I already had one of the Reggiane Re 2006 kits I bought at the weekend, so one is going up for disposal at some point.  Or perhaps not.  Spain, post war Italy and a captured one are three ideas I've just had off the bat.

I was restrained and focussed.  I had several key items to get and all of those were obtained where possible.

Some of the 3D printed parts were broken ( AASM canards ) but I don't care. The most interesting pieces are intact.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

The Wooksta!

Sadly, I don't have 40 billion dollars.

Another big kit investment: I recently procured a 3D-printed 1:6 scale kit of the anime character Rei Ayanami (from Neon Genesis Evangelion) for a conversion idea/project, but when it arrived I was a bit shocked becaus eof its size (11" tall plus base!), and put it in The Stash because it did not "feel" good as a basis - even though the fit of the parts is surprisingly good, and proportions are great, too. Nice kit!
However, the project is still "alive" and now I chased down ...the same, but different. And it's a novelty for me, because it is a multicolored IP kit of Rei Ayanami. It's a statue, however, not an action figure with joints (e.g. like Bandai's Star Wrs 1:12 figures/models), made by PLAMAX and about 1:8 scale (just ~8" and much less "massive"). There are actually two variants of this kit, which share the same body: one with the character's original bob hairstyle and a different one (from the Rebuild of Evangalion re-issue) with long flowing hair. That's the one I bought, hoping that this will make the conversion (which requires a new hairdo!) easier...

The nightfighter will probably be RNZAF, but I'm not sure about the fighter bomber ? Possibly RNZAF or maybe Aeronvale ? I've done a BPF Tigercat from the old Monogram ? kit, but I could do another I suppose. We shall see.

Oh nice!

I shall forthwith open their web page and make an order. I am thinking French Indochina for one of them.

There is actually a kit of that version available.

Just received from KingKit and on Lee's recommendation

1 x 1/72 Airkit Enterprise Spitfire F Mk 21

It looks to be complete, apart from a gun barrel or two, easy enough fix though.
