Canada Post has finally delivered my trio of kits, having kept them hostage for about a month. Only slated to lose 1.5 billion this year, one of the things they're asking for is another 17 'personal' days off.

A 'Vilaint? Does that mean it ain't a Valiant?

It's a 'Whifinabox', combining the Victor and Valiant...  ;)

I'm in the UK and my cousin lives in Canada. I generally send her Christmas card and present in mid November to have any chance of them getting there on time. Last year, her Christmas card to me finally dropped through my door in late March.

A Special Hobby 1:72 Boulton Paul Balliol, with the idea to convert it into a COIN aircraft, maybe a single-seater with a different canopy.

PR19_Kit

That should look very 'different'.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

From Mako Models on the Bay of Evil:
KP Aero Ae-145 - might get more power.
AZ Fieseler Fi-167 - because it already looks like it was built out of left over parts.
Dora Wings Fairey Delta 2 - I am very tempted by the magenta scheme, but it would look great in ARDU Fanta Can.  Particularly as it could be mistaken for a Mirage III at first glance.

And from Red Roo Models I received a Special Hobby Mosquito PRXVI and a set of masks for same.

It certainly does. Always been tempted by that kit, but never taken the plunge.

The is is a great looking kit with heaps of spares. The decal sheet is not the best though.
