If I finish the Slammer for the kitbash GB on BtS then I can get on with this project. So close to being done. I may have to take a break to finish some house projects now that the weather is getting better. Painting the foundation concrete blocks, replacing patio bricks, etc.

I said to the wife I wanted to do some projects. Now we're planning to renovate the first floor. I should have kept my mouth shut!

A friend from my club recommended Vallejo ultra matt polyurethane varnish. I tried it tonight and its looking good. Even some of the shading that had faded away from the acrylic clear seems to have reappeared. Its totally flat which is what I wanted. Now I can proceed with the detail work and the tracks.

Getting a few things glued together. Tracks are on and that's a major accomplishment. Side skirts then more bits and pieces.

You know I brought the M48/60 tracks for that APC project like 3 weeks ago now Ken ..and I'm still waiting for em..might have em tomorrow

Now that I'm attaching the outer tiny bits I've discovered that when a part is pulled loose or tape removed the clear comes right off with it. I think the craft store gloss is the culprit. No worries as I don't plan on removing stuff if I can help it. I've attached the side skirts and some of the fiddly bits. A few more to go. Antennas will be last of course. The spring wire I bought a few months ago is working like a champ.
