I've got a Monogram 1/48 in the stash. Biggest problem is where to put it when finished!

Yeah same here ..along with my 3 Monogram B-24 Liberators and Tamiya Lancaster...and yep there's a B-17 in there 😀 😄

The trouble with hanging anything on walls is that it takes away space better used for bookshelves, model shelves/cabinets, tvs...

Very nice!
It's impressively large in 1/48. Not a scale I like but, I was gifted a G W H P-61 and, have similar plans for it. A bit different from this one. It's got to have tip tanks!  . I think they do add something to the character of the model. I'm going to fit the four 0.50 machine guns in the nose and retain the 4 x 20mm cannons . That's more than enough to ruin anybody's day. It'll be a two seater with the rear cockpit painted over and, the space occupied by a ( hypothetical obviously) extra fuel tank. Also, less glazing = easier paint job!
