Having watched this build grow from birth, through infancy & childhood, to its rebellious juvenile years, to adulthood & maturity, all I can say, my friend, is that you have raised a wonderful model!

The Ukumka is an absolute shoe-in for a Whiffie, that's for sure. 

It doesn't matter which class it's entered in, it's GOING to win, no contest. 

As I said a while ago, it needs its own special award, like Whiffie of the Decade! or summat.

Well, thanks for all the feedback. It took much longer to build the model (I had expected about a year or so), and on some times, motivation got a bit lost, but in the end its done.

I have some ideas about some other Reban stuff, but this will definitely be a smaller model and hopefully one that takes not so much time. And, this will be hard for the Rebans, no snack machines......

Well, I understand the embarrassment regarding snack machines....

But this is the idea for the next Reban model. After the technically advanced FTL ship, lets go back a bit in the early days of Reban space travel. Actually, the next should be the first Reban spacecraft that reached their closest moon, Bobo.

So more or less, this will be technology on the level of an Apollo spacecraft. And i want to try some new things in design, construction and printing. Lets see if it works. But I am still in the very early planning phase.

Their home plant Icin has two moons: Bobo and Tarsch. Bobo is the bigger one and closer to their plant. In 2009, Rebans made their first landing on Bobo, in 2021 thei landed at Tarsch.

At the time when the Rebans were discovered by Humans in 2127, they has smaller outposts on Bobo and Tarsch, but  at this time, they definitly had snack machines.

The nice thing with 3D designed and 3D printed modls is that you can scale them to other sizes.

So I tried to scale down the Ukumka to 1/500 (the original model is 1/200). Printing the complete decks with all interior at once. But this is now at the edge what is possible to print as some walls are too thin now.

So, here are Deck 0 and Deck 1, various prints as I had to check how it is positioned on the printer to get the best result.

Have to see if this actually works for all decks.
