Quote from: Mossie on March 20, 2026, 01:16:36 AMI've known a few like that middle one. Guys will pick on him in a bar fight because he's small. It'd be a big mistake.

Yep, it's called Short Man Syndrome or Terrier Syndrome.

Because everyone's tried to push them around since they were old enough for their short stature to be apparent, they've learned to fight back, soon and hard, to get the bully on the back foot before they can use their size to advantage. They usually have a HUGE chip on their shoulder about being short and a very quick temper as a result.

Used to work with a guy who was like that. All the easy-going-giants learned real quick to either make freinds with him or give him a wide berth.

Had a bloke like that in the railway office I did the sandwich year of my degree in.
Short, stocky, Welsh, and a captain in the TA.  He had a balanced personality - a chip on each shoulder.  I had long hair and I was forced to develop a sixth sense that warned me when he was sneaking up on me with scissors...

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.  Revelling in numptytism.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed, badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry.

Liam was delivered the other day. Looks great in person. Now I'll have to be careful when painting him to not cover up the nice detail with paint. No Testors enamel on this one.
I wish Liam had some brothers.

Old Wombat

Liam's not a short bugger, at about 4cm tall in 1/48 makes him about 192cm tall in the RW, so about 6' 3" tall (+/-).
Has a life outside of What-If & wishes it would stop interfering!

I have other 1/48th figures in different heights so he'll fit right in.
