I've started a ship hull from a couple different plastic party drinkware that might end up looking like the Remora "boat". There will be lots of scratch built parts on this one! If it doesn't come out exactly like the artwork that's ok as no two of Ian McQues designs are alike. That's why I always say "inspired by" his work.

Here's the tug buggy loaded with rust and dirt.

Commander Cody is large and in charge! I still need to think up a design for the cargo trailer.

More photos of the Skymark buoy will be coming soon. I keep adding more details.

Here's a couple of pics of the buoy. I rubbed down several areas of wear with a lead pencil. I dug out some chain and plastic hooks from railroad parts. The final result will have some ropes and cables too.

I'm working on a few figures to give it a little life and show scale. They'll look like these mopes.

Oh yes.. this is so working

Thanks fella's!
I'm going to add one figure then set this aside for a while. Painting rust gets a little boring after a while! A mop and bucket off to the side would look pretty good!

Then the middle figure is perfect.

I've known a few like that middle one. Guys will pick on him in a bar fight because he's small. It'd be a big mistake.

Yup, I had a mate at school like that, indeed he's still a good mate, he looked small but was a county judo and boxing rep. Shame the county never had a "dirty fight" team, because he'd have probably skippered that as well

A friend of mine is like that with judo, short but heavily built, no getting him on the ground.

There was a lad in my class that was short and fairly scrawny. The bullies on picked on him once. Another lad shoved him once and he looked back for a few second with an evil smile then answered with an extodinarily fast set of punches, knocked him down and calmly walked off. If anyone has seen Don in Sexy Beast they know the type!

They just call that MMA these days.

I've got one guy picked out. He is the skinny guy in the crowd. He'll be watching out for the relief ship to take him back to civilization.

I ordered this guy to go with this build. Looks great in the pic and should fit right in. Ten bucks including the postage for one figure so it better be good.
