First sanding of the P-51S-5 fuselage is done:

Gluing resin to plastic is not easy. I used cheap cyanoacrylide glue bought by my wife, but it was almost not working, I added a part of sprue as support to make it more solid (this will not be seen on the final model), I will see after several hours if this is actually glued.

When you apply the cyanoacrylate glue sprinkle baking soda on it and it will set up immediately. If you do this in layers it can be built up as a filler.

Sanding is done, then I painted the resin and plastic in the same light blue color:

Surprisingly, I have added wheels on this model, instead of sending them to garbage (or spare parts box) as I do usually:

What are these two wheels for?
–   If I were a realist plane-lover: this would be to roll and take-off then land back home, and this would require a third wheel, but no I am not this one.
–   If I were a realist modeler: this would be to stand on the shelf, without in flight display pylon, and this would require a third wheel, but no I am not this one.
–   As a crazy whif modeler (and lacking skills & PSR courage), this is to hide the imperfect putty/sanding I made on the belly, and yes I am this one...

I like it!  When you posted the picture of the aircraft upside down, the absence of the wing made the radiator look really, really big with a very large "mouth"!  I liked that a lot - it seemed to indicate a very powerful engine. 

But what you have is very different, and I find it pleasing to the eye.
