But won't a toothpick actually be longer than the actual plane it's attached to???? ;)  ;)  ;)  B)  B)  :P

QuoteIf you two jokers would quit trying to be funny, maybe you could help me think up something small enough to be used as weapons on 350th scale a/c ?
Well you could try needles or something. They would be small enough.

Yeah, but here in Canada it'll be easy enough to find a beaver to them down for me !

And a pin, that's a thought ! Thanks !

You're crazy in the best possible way, Todd!

Wow!

A friend of mine thought about doing a Canadian airshow scene in 1:144 since more and more subjects were coming available.  That way, one could have as eclectic a mixture of planes as desired.

Your collection makes that seem so much more possible now that I've seen it in the flesh.

Keep going man----you're the only guy who could pull this off!  As for drop-tanks, would 1:35 small-arms rounds be too big?  Was thinking the belt ammo stuff Tamiya puts out could work if the diameter is suitable: just add a "bullet" at each end for at nose and tail tip of the tank...   ????

QuoteBut be forwarned, if you do, your houses will be my Navies first targets ! But you've got seven years to move......

well, in that case and since I don't want to move, I'm not going to tell you my idea on how to do things

Oh, ok I just can't keep it a secret. How about stretched sprue? You could stretch it to whatever thickness you want.

Fear not, my friend.....we will spare your house, as we need a place to keep out beer cold !

If some refridgerators start mysteriously showing up in a few years...do not be alarmed...just be sure to plug them in !

OH MY DOG !

That's exactly what I'm after ! Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait !
Especially like the bombs already on the launchers...how sweet is that !

Now, I need some 350th scale CDN roundels and flags ! I'll have to drop Mike Grant a line, see if he still does that sort of stuff.

Cheers !

Here we see the Airgroup taking shape..........the frontline a/c, with some of the old stuff behind.

As much as I hate to relegate the mighty SHAR to the second line....at $20 CDN for two, when I can have twelve Yak 141s for that price, it's inevitable !

But since I'm going all-Russian, I may just have to retire the Sea King for the Helix types...tough call tho, love them Sea Kings !

And if you're wondering how Canada will afford all this, easy......first order of buisness will be to privatize the beer and liquor stores in Ontario, at the same time, wresting control of Tim Hortons into Gov't hands !

:P

And if all Canadians would kindly take back their empties before month end, and forwrd the cash to me, we could have our carrier at 20% off !

And furthermore, Susan, if you're wondering about the fuel supply for all these a/c, we've already got that covered ! They, just like me, run on sweet, sweet Scottish Ale !

I don't think they're cast that way.
1. look at the different colors of the resin.
2. it's not possible to cast this shape (at least, not without using throwaway moulds).

Thats a damn fine looking air group you got there Todd!  B)

As for 1/350 a/c weapons, some people are just crazy...

I see you have an appropriately scaled beer ant the end of the runway for the pilots of the Canadian Armed Forces.

pfew, that's a relieve. And in the case of sending those friges, I'll beter get working on some more poweroutlets then  :D

As I've said, wonderfull air group but are you sure you'll have enough fuel for the aircraft? I think the pilots will be drinking more of the stuff then the aircraft will
