That cockpit glaseing reminds me of something but as I am not a civilian aircraft buff I have no idea what it looks like :banghead:

Thank you, the Piaggio looks closest to what I was thinking.

Hmm! nice bit of razor saw work there Simon. I think I would have gone with a couple more windows to use though  ;) ;) ;)

But seeing your handiwork, I've change how I was planning on stretching the fuselage on one of my HS.125's

I was thinking the same thing
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Mossie

Thanks all!

I need the rest of the fuselage for the craniotomy on the bulge. I'll probably drill the windows, or I might just paint them in.

The main reason for the z cut was to keep the undercarriage bay, but I realised if I extended it I could take care of the wing box, win win.. The only problem is the B-57 nose starts to curve at that point, so I've got an odd shape that I need to take care of (or ignore).

This is one sexy looking design. One of those things that you wish had really existed.

Strangely, my goal is not necessarily to finish it for Sunday, I started too late.  It's mostly to get my mojo going and get something finished.

Best plan ever!
Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition!

Cheers guys!

Latest update, lid is on.  I've cut out a little shim of card to give a rough idea of what the canopy cover will look like.

zenrat

I'm looking forward to seeing a Dominie with a tandem canopy.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Mossie

I did offer it up, but there's not much of the poor Dominie left, sacrificed for the greater good.  It has got me wondering what to graft the wings onto though.

zenrat

I have a Dominie in the stash and this is giving me ideas for a nose swap of my own.
