I reckon that would drag itself up into the sky without any wings at all.

Looking good Dave.

Love it!  Particularly as you've made the engines "handed".  :)

Nice! The longer fuselage is a good balance for the bigger engines.

Oh, I like that Westland Scio Rickshaw! Is that PRU blue? it crossed my mind to do it up in PRU blue but think a tactical scheme suits it better.

@ Zenrat: yeah, I guess you're right: the engines are powerfull enough to put it up in the sky without wings...they're just there for decoration  :o

Thanks for the nice comments gentlemen.

Oh, such a long time since i've finished this build. Finally found some time to make some pictures of it as it's finished. This is how a Westland Wyvern with Griffons could have looked like:

That's rea;;y rather splendid!

Do my eyes deceive me or have you extended the wings to near Welkin length as well as swapping the Peregrines for Griffons?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I like it!   It is another aircraft that fits the Beaufighter definition  "Two bl...dy  great engines hotly pursued by an airframe"
