Roden have just brought out a new version of this, the Vietnam War version that was used to spray defoliant. So I had a look and it was a new tool back in 2014, not as old as I thought.

I didn't know that, and I'm surprised it didn't go further, but as usual, money talks.
Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Looks great in those colours, and I like the idea of a turboprop variant. I've got the wee 1rrth scale one somewhere, and that seems the way to go !

Fairchild even penned a four engined  piston and turboprop variants,  there's a few design models of these but none were built in the real world.
