The ejector pin marks on the inside of the fuselage halves have been filled and are now sanded back using a mini drill and sanding bit. This removed some of the internal frames, but I have to add some anyway to go over the inside of the filled-in window.

My solution, grind off a bit more of the frame and replace it.

Here are the first two lengths fitted. Only spot glued in place at the moment, once I am happy with them, I will run a bead of glue along the whole length. The material is some wire from an old USB cable. It's just the right size, which is smaller than the Evergreen strip that I have.

One of the problems with the older Italeri/Revell kit of the Wessex is that the cabin has no roof, or you could say that the transmission deck has no floor. The new Airfix Kit does, so that was used as a template for making my own.

I don't think that it is exact, but it will do to provide the necessary roof to which I will hopefully be able to add texture to represent soundproofing, probably some kind of foil, but that will be after I have fitted the roof into the cabin.
