Now that group does look both very busy and fit for purpose, nice job .

Only one thing missing ? Every time I've seen a coach/bus with a roof rack as loaded as that ones' in a film there's been a chicken fluttering around on or near it  ;)

An interesting collection of well constructed transport.

Narses,  this view shows them still in the landing craft waiting to set off.  The chickens would no doubt be "acquired" by the  crew some time later,  during the course of their travels.

It  means that you read  the instruction sheet

Narses,  as Rheged  says live chickens were scarce on the sea voyage . Experiments with getting a tin of Spam to flutter was attempted .

However the  air speed velocity of an unopened tin of spam was very low....

Not if my mum was throwing it  ;) ;D

What's the gun as a matter of interest ? 25lb carriage ? Plus I know some 25lb's had their shields removed for jungle service etc. So is it a 25lb, just wondered if it was a 3.7" C.S. mounted on a 25lb carriage.

I could  a very old model on the stash.  it is a 7.2 inch Howitzer by Caldercraft.  Its metal so along with the size of the gun it has some heft

Ah thanks. I remember Dinky doing something similar back in  the 50's. The Dinky one may of been 8" and I'm not certain what the scale was... 1/96th ?
