Won a PM Model Su-15 single seater at ev!lbbay for just EUR 2,50,-. Will end up in the donor bank.

:o Wow... that is a bargain, no doubt... is that price including postage, Dizzy? Don't know if it's because the stuff i buy on ebay is always from outside of Portugal but 2,50 doesn't even cover the postage of the best bargains i've found on there...

No, just the kit itself, but with EUR 2,70,- postage on top it's still a good deal for the kit.

Indeed, excellent deal IMHO.
I think that the cheapest kit i ever bought was the old Airfix 1/72 F6F Hellcat, which cost me 5 but that wasn't bought on ebay, i found it on OLX. A PoAF staff sergeant was selling it and it happened to be at the same time that me and my band were going to record our first album at a studio near Lisbon. There was no shipping cost added cause i went to meet that sergeant where he was stationed, which was a funny coincidence. He was and still is stationed at BA1 in Sintra, which is home to the PoAF's academy and also where the biggest PoAF museum is, only a mere 10 minutes car trip from the studio. It was my first time in an aeronautical museum so that was a very pleasant surprise cause at the time, i had no idea where the museum was and i guess that the deal really paid off cause i got to see the museum for free.

New to my stash today Revell/Monogramm F-82 Twin Mustang, so I can make a start at long last on one of tophies
Fantastic Mustang variants ;D. And a Revell DC-4 for just under 1/2 the MRP. So it would have been rude not too. :  (both in 1/72)

Regards
Keith

My Sci Fi holy grail arrived this morning. That box is bleedin Huge! :o

It was sold as part started but all ive seen so far is some painting of small areas that would be other wise impossible to get at once assembled.

the EKFG gets the blame for this one. He tipped me off after spotting it on ebay at a very reasonable price........Well under the usual going rate.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

WRT stash storage I practise distributed storage keeping it in my shed in a number of cupboards, in drawers, on shelves, in tubs or in a box.  This way should Mrs z ever venture in there and open a cupboard/drawer/tub etc she will only see a small part of the whole...
Well that's the theory anyway.

Today I received from Hannants; Xtradecal RAAF & RNZAF national insignia, canopy masks for 1/72 Pe8 & B-36 and SAC white metal undercarriage for 1/72 Catalina (will not be used on a Catalina).

And from BNA Model world, this;

From one of the two big secondhand kit providers in England :

Airfix Centurion tank

I needed this for a current project, there will of course be bits left over.

It's a bit like cookery; some of the best meals are made from the  "...bits left over..."   Similarly,  magnificent Whiffery comes from the leftovers of our  planned projects.  I wait with eager anticipation your " leftovers" creation.

Basically, the left overs will be the turret and gun, I have no idea what the flavour or consistency from them could be, but anyone who would like them PM me.

It has separate heads and arms and the detail is a cut above the figures Hasegawa put in kits such as the G8N Renzan.

A Dragon 1:72 "Neubaufahrzeug V", with a different operator in mind, and two 1:72 Panzer III "Ostwind" kits from Revell.

Ebay says I've won the cheap AZ Spitfire 14 lowback I was bidding on.  Which is nice.  Comes sans canopy, but I've plenty of Falcon ones stashed away.

Probably not much to interest most people but just ordered from BNA Models:

1 x D-Toys 1/35 Vietnam War US Tanker Crew Set #2 (1 Figure) (DT35-049)
1 x Duplicata Productions 1/35 Vietnam War American Cigarettes (DU-59B-35)
2 x Duplicata Productions 1/35 Vietnam War US Beer Boxes (DU-46C-35)
1 x DEF Model 1/35 British RR Armoured Car Balloon Sagged Wheel set Vol. 2 for Meng Models (DEF-DW30044)
3 x Master Models 1/350 HMS Exeter 1939 Armament - Barrels for Trumpeter kits (SM-350-108)*
1 x MiniArt Models 1/35 WWII Australian M3 Lee [Interior Kit] (MA35287)

*: 1 for my Exeter kit (all of the set) & 2 to arm my Prinz Eugen kit (well, the 8" guns, anyway, which will leave me 4 x 8", 8 x 4" & 16 x 0.5" pom-pom barrels to find uses for ;))
