Anyone into balsa?
« on: July 21, 2019, 09:45:26 am »
Just found this place on Google maps, and it's only about half an hour away from me, in Uxbridge, Ontario.

Vintage Model Plans

https://www.vintagemodelplans.com/

All sorts of plans for aircraft, ships and boats, cars, dollhouses, etc. Even has plans for a rubber-powered XP-67 Moonbat, if I trusted my skills I would love to try that! Operates out of his house by the looks of it, so mail order only I would guess, no browsing.

Wow, terrific stuff there.

I'm still doing some flying model building, almost 99% gliders and I see he does a T21 AND a T53! I've flown both of them for real but never seen a T53 plan before.
Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Joining the forum is required to access the drawings, but it's painless and the selection is huge
and includes full scans of magazines (229 issues of Aeromodeller alone), Aircraft in Profile
Number 1 through Number 262 and 209 NACA Aircraft Circulars.
