Very good Chris.
It's weird.  I like it.
One could possibly add a second canopy on the other side for the engine for the weapons officer.  Or maybe but him/her prone in a pod on the underside.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Heinkle considered slightly asymmetric configurations in order to accommodate jet engine installations:

That twigs a memory, I think Planet may have done a resin kit and I may well have made it in the dim and dastant past ? Need to go and look now  ;D

Having the jetpipe form the roof of an undercarriage bay isn't that unusual: you get the same thing on the Buccaneer.

Ah, cheers H

Given the undercarriage arrangement there's certainly room for a pod, but I wouldn't want to be in there when it's coming into land.

Hmmm...very interesting shape. Would have been a natural for the racing  GB,.
Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

For the glory of the fuhrer and the fatherland you will go where you are told to...
Maybe the WO has a seat up inside the body of the plane into which he climbs and straps himself before landing.

Might be safer to just eject the pod, provided it's fitted with a parachute that is

What a cool looking machine ! Great job on the paint and markings. That's one of those birds I'd like to pick up and fly around the room. Looks like a good scale-o-rama candidate as well.

Cheers Chris !
