added in recent weeks [from various sources including the Avon Show] that I remember

1/35 Takom FV432 APC
1/72 Matchbox Wellesley
1/144 Airfix Vickers Vanguard [three of these for 'Kipper Fleet mods over the winter]
1/72 Arado Ar68 [of very odd parentage won in the raffle at Avon. Merlin and Unicraft kits are buildable by comparison]
1/72 Sword RF-80A [two of the over Korea boxing, which allows me to do an ordinary F-80 and convert another T-33 to a RT-33]

The Ar 68 is quite possibly an MPM kit - they did one in their very early days, circa 1991.  Huma did one at the same time, with multiple choice engines and u/c.  There may have been an Airmodel vacform - they definitely did the navalised version.

I'd have to see pics to confirm it.

An 1:57 X-Wing Fighter from Revell - the orginal design with four truly separate engines and not the nonsense nacelles from the TFA designs.
Had a neat whiffing idea for it...

1/72 Revell HP Victor K2
Eric the Viking has a pair of Airfix Avro Vulcan wings on a Revell Blohm and Voss BV 222 flying boat. The Mystic has the Airfix Vickers Valiant wing, so the Mighty Thor should have the Victor wings!

Rescued from the sorting office

1 x Blackbird 1/72 Avro Lancaster VI conversion set. Once I looked at it I realised why they specify the new Airfix Lancaster B.II

Because the cowling for the new engines are round, Blackbird are taking advantage of the B.II already having the round sections for that versions radial engines. Obvious really  :banghead:

That would be my bad   , Glenn was asking for suggestions at a Bolton Show a number of years ago and I suggested the Lincoln conversion using the New Airfix BII as it had just come out or been announced, and speculated he could also get the Lancaster VI out of the project too

Not a problem Thorvic other than the instructions being a bit vague or even non-existent for where to cut to add the new engines.

I just seeded the idea and the potential donor kit, it was left to Glen and the guy he contracted to master it to do the hard work  ;D.

But it shows that good suggestions with a well reasoned proposition do work as long as they are practical and make commercial sense.
