Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Who do you think taught Fred to fly?

HA!   ;D

Never been too sure of these new-fangled devices - in fact, I'm not always sure coming down from the trees was such a hot idea...  ;)

Good words to live by, my friend! I swear, some people seem to go around acting all serious and miserable just because they thing they should because they are of a certain age... and also be critical of those of us that know how to have fun. I say, you can do both... there's no reason you can't be a functioning responsible adult and not be childish and immature at the same damn time.  ;D  In fact, I really don't like to be around people that never seem to relax... never seem to smile... never laugh... and just take things way too seriously. Life is too short for all that...

Nothing going on lately, I'm stuck dealing with tasks expected and unexpected both leading up to the holiday but I think I'll be back to leisure time soon.

I think the whole world has come to take itself too seriously most times, and they've certainly had their Sense-of-Humour atrophy, along with becoming incredibly thin-skinned... and not always on their own behalf, either...

TheChronicOne

No doubt!!!

Tiny bits, but important bits none the less, have been done with the Revell 1/144 Hercules which i'm sad to say is RIDDLED with flash and excess styrene... I've spent the bulk of my time sanding and dry fitting, rinse and repeat. What a mess. No pictures, yet. Once I have some decent progress made I'll try to get a new thread opened up for it.

Cleaning up up errant files on my computer and thought I'd share some model related stuff.

Well, hell.....  lookie what I've found. I've been gone awhile..... 2022 was because of expanding my business and being over ran with things to take care of. Starting in 2023, however, I got myself in a bind and had to do a stint in the state penitentiary. While I was down, heathens and junkies ransacked my house and stole everything I own and wrecked the house, including my shop building I had JUST remodeled. They even got the bulk of my model kit stash and built models but amazingly there are quite a few left. I'll post pictures at some point.... once I regain access to my imgur account where all the rest of my pics are stored. Things are a right mess. I have no running water and no electricity at the house. I am on foot at the moment because the junkies even stole my truck....  I'm currently trying to secure a 9-5 job because along with everything else, everything I used for my business has been stolen as well! I'm essentially homeless right now, although I have a place to lay my head, but with the heat and humidity around here my house is unlivable and everything I'm trying to do from getting my health insurance going again to getting a job to just coming up with everyday essentials like cleaning stuff and clothing is proving to be a nightmare. That said.... and more on task..... I plan on eventually getting back to some hobby time. I think it'll do me some good if I can get over the sad state of affairs that my build space has become. I am intrigued however about the possibilities and what all I can scrounge up from the pile of disaster that is left to pick through but I remain optomistic because the other day I looked into the room and amongst the catastrophe I saw my desk was still there... and my cutting mat still on top of it so who knows... I may yet find more supplies and things I need to get going again because Lord knows I can't afford to get any new stuff for the foreseeable future with everything else needing attention.

So that's that... it's good to be back and although I know some of us are no longer here, it will be good "seeing" the ones that are again. I've missed you all.

Yeah, it doesn't take long for the criminal element to realise a home/business is unoccupied & take advantage of the fact.

See it all the time in my job (Home Detention Compliance Officer with the Dept for Correctional Services).

Still, good to see you back on the boards, mate! Hope you can sort yourself out quickly!
