zenrat industries penetration by external assets
Ian,
Documents supplied in the usual way by our sources within GEA Department of Border Security show clear and incontrovertible proof that the suspicions you voiced last week were not unfounded, zenrat industries has been penetrated by at least one external agent.
Until such time as aforementioned agent(s) are identified all z.i. assets are to remain within PDRV borders unless specific operational authorisation has been issued by SeStaPo Counterintelligence Directorate. Official notification will be forthcoming but take this as a heads up and don’t stray North unless we tell you to.
I’ve attached a copy of what we got from you know who. HWMBO made me redact it for the usual reasons but there’s enough left for you to get a pretty good idea of who the treacherous little poo-poo is. Usual drill though – don’t tip him off, don’t move him about and don’t break his legs (that’s our job!). Just keep it to business as usual while we do all the paperwork (you know what it’s like these days – it’s got to the stage where you can’t even pull out a fingernail without filing in forms in triplicate).

Re. Operation XXXXXXX XXXXXXXXX.
Ref. XXXX/XXXXX:XX
Status Update XX/XX/XXXX
Operative codename XXXXXXXXXX has been emplaced within XXXXXX XXXXXXXXXX at XXXXX XXXXXX XXXXXXXXX. He provided the following report (itallicised) on XX/XX/XXXX.
XXXX XX floatplane registration XXXXXX arrived XX/XX/XXXX. Rush job with no paper trail which means its Special Circumstances. Carried out quick and dirty flat white spray job over the metal finished undersides and floats. Told by XXXX XXXXXX to make sure rego & zi lettering obscured. Aircraft carried large auxiliary fuel tanks in float. After craning back into water at XXXXhrs on XX/XX/XXXX was fuelled at slipway XX. Piloted by XXXX XXXXXXX. Asked him where he was going but he wouldn’t say. Had a very tall odd looking passenger wearing unusual clothes. Had one item of luggage – a metal suitcase which appeared to levitate emitting a drone. Took off at XXXXhrs. Headed XXXXX after takeoff.
Obviously codename XXXXXXXXXX is deluded regarding flying luggage but overcoating a natural metal finish with a matt colour coat tallys with what is known to be SOP to prevent detection by reflections. The hurried nature of the work suggests the PDRV SeStaPo were having to use an aircraft that would not normally carry out a covert role. Although the earlier provision of additional fuel capacity would suggest otherwise.
As reiterated on many previous occasions it is the policy of this committee to note the PDRV’s constant denial of the existence of any “XXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXX” agency, body or organisation and to state that despite a widespread, almost religious belief in their existence amongst the civilian population on both sides of the border there is absolutely no conclusive evidence they exist other than as deliberately contrived misinformation.

The model:
Hobby Boss Zlin Z42M with floats from Hasegawa Curtiss Seagull. Central float support is section of ARK Dewotine D520 wing.
Painted with car paint and acrylics. Kit and home made decals.
