I like his ideas, and most of the choices are seen as '2nd rate' aircraft by those with little understanding, but some of the detail bits, like those above, are a tad questionable.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Well the Beaufighter was developed from the Beaufort and they did the Blenheim too so they had a family rather than a single design to play with.
