Ruddy cheek!

It's a Sports Hatch, one of the rarest Vauxhalls ever, they only made 197 of them, and mine was the 18th one off the line. I'd leave a BMW 323i for DUST in its time, and I drove it for over 100000 miles. Sadly a massive tree fell on it in its garage and demolished it totally, the body was about 18" high when they dragged it out. :(

And it's got NOTHING to do with a Chevette, apart from the fact that both were made by Vauxhall, and both were styled by the same genius, Mr. Wayne Cherry.

I don't mind them for airbrushing (though I haven't for years), but I never have been able to get them brush worth a d*mn.
Though the Juniors group had no issues... go figure.

I first thought the Chevelle was a Falcon, shame on me - wrong Marque... Must Do Better! :banghead:

No, it's a Viva with a bigger donk.

I sanded back the surfboard AGAIN and repainted it with Vallejo Acrylic.  This went on a treat although it'll need more coats.  Cork Brown with a touch of Pale Flesh is close to Wooden Deck Tan BTW.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I should probly have tooken some pics today.

The Woody is close to completion.  I've started attaching the shiny bits.  As usual the kit chrome is on the bright side so i'm coating it with s mix of black acrylic and gloss clear to make it look aged.  This has the added benefit of helping hide the sprue attachment scars.  Bumpers, hubcaps, and grille are on.  Bumpers still need clearing.

I masked and sprayed the roof of the VW.  One fisheye.   :banghead:   This should be solved by sanding.  I used the wrong shade of black anyway.

Su-22 has moved very quickly to the paint stage.  While simple the Hobbycraft kit goes together well requiring little PSR.  Good engraving as well.
So far i've painted the underside blue.

I like it, I have a thing about the Maggies (see here https://www.whatifmodellers.com/index.php?topic=46914.msg856409#msg856409) and that looks a great idea.

It may look even better with the cockpit a tad further forward though, just my 2d, or maybe 2 Euros if it's an IAC Maggie.
