In 1/144 scale panel line seams can be virtually invisible and still be realistic.

How many panel lines can you see on an RW airliner at a normal viewing distance? None, the only ones you can see are the door and cargo hatches really.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I have used that excuse in 1/72, as well...   ;D

Thanks guys.  Engines are reprimed.  I'll have a good squizz at them and the fuse and make a decision.

Progress on the Charger cop car.  Paint on the interior and seats.  I want to weather this up so it looks like many and various perps have ridden in the back and many and various cops have worn the front seats.
Body parts are primed in white.
Engine I had previously painted a custom shade I intended to be Hemi Orange but which isn't red enough (I think the trick is to add orange paint to red paint and not the other way around - Hemi Orange is almost red after all)).  But that doesn't matter as most of it will be hidden under one of those plastic engine covers they put on modern cars to hide all the wiring.  i then cleared it at which point the block fell off its tooth pick and rolled across the floor...   :banghead:

Colour painting has commenced on the Su-34.  I'm going with a RW scheme using the Hataka paint set meant for this bird which I used on this Harrier...

Thanks Rick.  Today I finished up brushing the colour coats and then airbrushed a filter coat of the pale blue (super thinned with water).  This acts like The Dude's rug and ties the colours together.  It's a subtle difference but I think it worth doing.

I also spent some time stash rummaging and thinking about the next GB - Amphibians.  I have had an idea involving a Vulcan/Sunderland kitbash rattling around in my head so I offered up the relevant parts.  This showed me that it will be much more complexicated than I initially thought, not the least because it'll need undercarriage worked into it somehow.

Perfect weather for airbrushing.  So I started to put some white on the Charger cop car...
...and ran out of paint.

Watch The Big Lebowski.  You'll understand.

Paint should arrive Wednesday.  I should get time to apply it next weekend.
