Su-22 is done.  Here with earlier example.  More pics later.

Thanks folks.

Next on the bench is a Tamiya (Italeri) Su-34.  Straight OOB build, soviet blue camo, whif markings.  I might switch some of the weapons.

Dicker Max basic paint is done.  I need to print some transfers.

VW windows are in.  I'm working on the dash & steering wheel.

Chevelle windows, interior, chassis and engine are in place.  Working on the suspension and brakes.

I had another Whiff dream last night.
Last time this happened I dreamed up this...

...(OK, so in the dream it was a pair of FW190s) and a Rocket powered Me 110 with trelliswork tail-boom.
Last night I dreamed of a B17 with a space shuttle merged with the rear of the fuselage so that the tail fin of the shuttle replaced the Boeing's fin.  It was bristling with extra gun turrets and the cargo doors of the shuttle were still there.
I blame a combination of the Space GB and Phill's Fortriberator for this.
 ;)

At my age I have a few What If dreams, but they are nothing to do with modelling   Mind you some are quite sad  :-\

Depends on the type of modelling you're thinking about surely? ;)

Whif modelling.  Is there any other kind?

Chevelle is up on its wheels.  They are an aftermarket Japanese set.  I bought four packs.  Glad I did as they give it exactly the stance I wanted.  Ignore the fact they are four stud wheels - ummm, mumble mumble custom machined hubs mumble mumble cough.  Front wheels look too far back in the wheel holes but that's how it comes out the box.  Built example on the box art is the same as are all the built example I found on-line.  I could move the whole K frame forwards but it would involve carving a proportion of it away to clear the sump.  I'm thinking about whether I can be bothered.  I suspect it's going to bug me enough that i'll end up doing it.  Especially as no one else seems to do so.

I've been trialling some new Chrome paint (AK Interactive Super Chrome).  I pulled the Bulldog out of its box and brush painted the cowlings straight over primer.  Pretty good finish (although the photo doesn't do it justice).  It's even better over gloss black.  The fabric parts are painted in Tamiya Chrome Silver enamel to represent silver doped fabric.  I shall be custom printing some suitably Bulldoggy transfers.

Su 34.  Tamiya boxing of the Italeri kit.  You can tell it aint no real Tamiya kit by the gaps and the mismatched panel lines.  Big bugger.

I haven't tried airbrushing it yet but even brushed on it's a step up from Alclad chrome.
