You were thinking about it H.  I'm just making it look nice.   ;D
It's a way off yet though.  Plenty of other builds.

Very cool stuff you got going there, Fred! Love the camo on the Su-22.

Here's the full suite of colours on the Su-22.  Still more coats to go but you can see the gist of it.

And the finished Woody.  I don't think of this sort of build as a Whiff so i'm not giving it its own thread.

1/25 Revell '48 Ford Woody.  Lowered suspension, RHD conversion, big'n'little tyres, small block Mopar V8, lowered rear seat, dropped rear windows.

Red paint is rattle can enamel (and could be better TBH - but the lighting makes it look worse than it is).  Wooden panels are the kit transfers but all other woodwork (including the full interior and surfboard) are brushed with acrylics.

Fred, the Su-22  looks good,  admittedly my eyes arnt the best, but it looks like good smooth coats with sharp demarcation lines from here.  But that Woody     that looks like some ones carefully looked after pride and joy, the paint looks like its old, but cared for, with the metal under it having been sanded back too, and re done over time....

Oh and the new avatar pic is wonderful as well

Those both look good. The Su-22's a sexy beast, isn't it?

LOVE that Woody Fred!

The 'wood' panelling  and your 'wood' paintwork really make it.

Old Wombat

That is a very comrade_harps camo! Well done, Fred!

The woody looks fine, too!

The Su-22's coming along nicely mate

But speaking as someone who knows now't about automobiles real or whiff'd that Woody is simply magnificent
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
