That sounds really interesting Nils. Do you paint them or let them get that Aluminium Oxide colour ?
i would give them a layer of Revell 99 (Aluminuim) paint, just for the better effect

Foolishly bought the PM Models F-16 (http://www.kitreview.com/reviews/f16pmreviewbg_1.htm) because it was cheap.
Opened it, immediately regretted the purchase and decided the only solution is to do something silly with it. Stay tuned.....  ;)

How do you 'accidently' win an auction?  ;D
Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

You stick in a bid at the opening amount because it's cheap and no-one else appears to have bid and then you forget about it until you get the e-mail telling you you've "won".

Happens all the time ;D

Placing a bid out of impulse, regretting it, and noone else wanted it... was/remained cheap, though, and it might end up as a vaguely planned de-VTOL-ized Harrier derivative.

i was planning on ordering the 1/72 Su-27SM, but seemed a bit pricey at 25 euro's (can get the trumpeter version cheaper localy).
could get it cheaper in local stores once the kit is in full circulation.

Airfix 1/72 Bloodhound, Landie, launcher & trailer waiting for me at the post office.  This was an accidental evil-bay win.

Or someone sticks 50p at the last minute. I hope whoever enjoys their 1/72 Formaplane BAe Nimrod MR.1 and Historic Wings resin conversion MR. 2P. :banghead:

Given the way Evil-Bay works they might have stuck in $1000 at the last minute.  It just looks like they only stuck in the minimum because the winner only pays one increment more than the second highest bid.  That's one of the ways they get you hooked.
It still sucks though.

1964 Buick Riviera built promo from an old collection via eBay.

Poorly sprayed black and the worst case of vinyl tire 'melt' I've ever seen.   :-\
The wheel inners were unpainted so they are half gone and the melted plastic
has actually run down and coated the tires.

But none of that matters as it was purchased for the body and will be crossed with
the AMT '65 Riviera, and other parts, to replicate what I wanted to do with my '64.
Alas I had neither the time nor the money so the car was sold on after the engine
went TU.  :banghead:

And we, till now unmatched in ill,
Must leave successors more corrupted still."
