Wow that's a lot of cool stuff Martin !

I had a stash lessening this week. It was my older Brother's 46th Birthday, and I pulled a move my Grandfather used to do on the odd occasion. Told him to go into the cave and pick a model ! Dirty bugger picked a Hasegawa Neptune. But that was ok, as I still have 2  But he didn't stop there. Since I have so many doubles and triples etc. he also walked out with a Hase CF-104, as well as an Airfix Typhoon, Mustang and Hurricane ! He just started building again and has already turned into a hoarder lol.

:drink:

I came away from Bolton empty handed but Hannants came to the rescue with a Fiat BR-20 and Japanese decals.
A trip into Transport models (Preston) produced (by magic and slight of hand) an Academy "Ontos" tank thats hopefully going to have its coming out party at Huddersfield................Im thinking ambush scheme '46.

So much for my must build before buying rule........................shakes head sadly and exits stage right. :banghead:
Oh I forgot
I swapped an Airfix Buccaneer for a He-219......Japanese '46   B-29 killer???

Im pink therefore Im Spam...and not allowed out without an adult

Is that the Italeri BR-20?
What's it like?
Fred

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I've built the Italeri Br-20 from the boxing with the Japanese markings and it's a typical Italeri kit of its day. Goes together ok and the details fine on the outside, Internal detail is simplified considerably but not much can be seen. So of its time and a good one for that period.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Wot e sez.            My version is the nostalgia reissue. Plastic looks very brittle and there is mould wear making the surface detail smooth.

The Wooksta!

From ebay:

CMR Spitfire LF.IXe - Czech/Isreali boxing.  Worth it for the decal sheet alone with oodles of options, plus a spare wing.

Thanks Chris & Dork.
One to look out for I think.

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

A 1:72 MiG-15 UTI from Gran - primarily because of the decals, since a Polish Navy machine is featured. Plan is to build a Hobby Boss MiG-15 UTI (a really nice kit) in these (real!) markings, since these machine bore rather wild paint schemes...
