I'm inclined to agree about a Dash 7, a very under modelled type. Sadly there are no common parts between a 7 and an 8, so it'd need totally new tooling, and in the RW there weren't too many 7s sold.

True, but one helluva lot more than any luft '46 stuffe, and they're over-represented in my opinion.

Good looking project, personally I'd prefer it shrunk to 1/144 but that's just me.

I think only about 120 or so were built but, it was used by a surprisingly large list of operators.
I certainly remember the BA examples (operated by the Brymon franchise) in Edinburgh regularly.

There was just something uber cool about an airliner with four whirly things on the wings! Great WHIF potential.

I get what you say about lack of commonality but, Mikromir, to their great credit have never let such minutiae get in their creative way😉😂.

I love their imaginative choices 😊.

I have two different versions of the hobbycraft dash 8 stashed away, but I am interested in what this one would be like. I need a turbo prop ELINT aircraft for the Honduras air force, and maritime patrol aircraft too.

I'll be honest, if it was 1/144 at a sensible price then I have ideas for a few. Sadly can't afford to realise them at that size or likely price!

Has there been any sightings of their forthcoming Bv P.193?

A company named Sasquatch did one, in resin I believe, but repeated web searches by ever-hopeful me have failed to find any left.

EDIT: Scalemates shows one from Welsh Models, and another from Model Design Construction, which is not listed on their web site. MDC Dash-7

The Dash-7 is one I would love, because I want to turn it into a flying boat!  ;D

Au contraire! I believe the CAUTION - HOT! warning labels on the coffee maker are the same.  ;D

I checked hannants website to see if the BVP 193 was out yet, but it says future release still. I want one of them too.

TBH, if you see a Planet resin one at a decent price, nab that.

I'm just curious to see what the price on the Mikro Mir one will be.  I'm already braced for the likely heart attack inducing cost of their forthcoming Ju 388.  Although I'm unlikely to buy one of those either considering the insane breakdown of the fuselage.

Cheers Lee, will do. Planet stuff seems to go together nicely too.

I'll be keeping an eye out for the Mikromir Ju-388 too. I'd heard about the Planet kit but, resin is not an option.
