back from the 1st day of Telford, my feet  :banghead:  !
got to see the gang on the stand, have a good chat and the spread of models was very good !  planes, cars spaceships and more!
i still have some case in my pocket     :o   ;D   so can keep an eye out for an utter bargain or two tomorrow
but managed to pick up 2 things from my list.
the Revell Beechcraft
and the Hustler
and got distracted and got some other stuff as well.
i will be taking photos tomorrow ( if i remember)   and hopefully not spending to much.
The mini rolls have gone, but there are 2 stacks of Jaffa cakes left.

im back home and have put the displayed models back in the relative storage areas,
the new books have been put on the shelves
i have packed the Hasagawa pilot sets down into a single box
i now just have to get the rest into the loft tomorrow  :o
i also want to finish the current warrior build, and ( at the moment) have decided that the next build will be the Chieftain AVRE  version, probably in a Berlin Brigade scheme, as that will make it stand out even more,  after all its not like having all your tank stuff having the same basics, isnt a good idea, as the base it the venerable Tamiya MK 5 kit, i know not only does the bit im not fiddling with goes together well, its quite a small adjustment, replace the gun barrel. and then add a dozer blade, i hope the accurate armour one ist too bad. as thats the one ive got

i will add that the Hustler may well end up having to be modded, as i got into a discussion regarding air launching rockets to increase load to orbit ability,
So RAF or UNIT ( UN white circumpolar over RAF)  and something like black Knight ?   but id also want to do something a little more  :o    so i may have to use magnets and get a second centre line pod, and do one pod as the normal boom option, but also do the other as a " Royal Mail Par Avion"  pod for a cleaver advert from the 60s ,  as what else would you use ?   especially as at the moment i dont have a concord that i could paint red, for a later version

had another did through the pile of potential, cant find the space marines i had set aside,  :banghead:
but found a unit of 10 mono pose marines i had set for something, ( cant remember),  a bigger pile of wargods of Aegyptus, and Hyperbola than i thought i had.       a platoon of force of arms  ANZACS, ( i think) or possibly Australians from the Vietnam war, i dont want to start opening packages , i also found a small eldar army that i can remember getting but not what for,

managed to find the space marines, in the normal way,  :banghead:      i was looking for something else and put my had straight on them,  :o
so ive put the bombs in the same box so the will stay together.

Madame Rheged's method of finding things is to look for something else entirely.  If she's lost her good pen, her scheme is to immediately start looking for my stapler!

I find that if I ask Mrs z if she knows where it is then I invariably find it just as she answers.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed, badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry.

with my mojo as random as a disinterested chaos lord,  :banghead:   very little has been added to the warrior,  a half dozen parts over the last couple of weeks .
I have gone slightly sideways.  At Telford Wooksta gave me some support sprues from a 3D print,  and i had a bit of inspiration strike,  so a cat food pyramid container as a base, and then a length of support gives a good light tower , ive made the 1st light from a piece of trapezoid sprue filed to a rough shape, and i need to add a couple of smaller one on to the other side of it to look the same.   it keeps me thinking and something progressing on the bench  ;D

both of the NAC star ships have been finished and varnished, 2 more models done.

50 figures 12 pieces of scenery and 19 models

I will also add ( wile i remember)  i mentioned above that i was going to say a quick thank you  to the Airfix staff at Telford.  I managed to speak to one off them wile they were free, and did so,  had a quick explain of the bits that worked well and the problem with the hull interior floor warping, due to it being near the limit of the material.  They said it would be passed onto the design staff as they rarely got messages like that
