It certainly does, but yours is more practical as it has a nosewheel.
Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

That's the one we were looking for!  ;D As I said, the photoshopped one must be the prototype, like the prototype Me262s it had a tail-wheel.

Interesting to see the differences in positioning of the cockpit - the trailing edge photoshopped one v the central over the wing model  <_<
Oh to be whiffing again :-(

Model of the Saab 1300-71 D (also known as A36), a concept of a Mach 2.5 bomber with a nuclear capacity studied in the 1950s.

That is what i'd call a very Gerry Anderson'esque design... i love that paint job!

Then there was this, also ...

I've seen the one with the chin intake before but not the version with the Bristol 188 style engine pods. They look so different, but so good

They both  look  brilliant.  I  would  definitely  like  to have both of those in my alternative  cold war RAF aircraft  builds

Something similar could be cooked up with an 1:200 Concorde and an 1:72 B-58...?

I think that canopy would be at home on a Viggen.  It looks like a fairly generic tube fuselage and tail surfaces ... plastic card and a bit of file-work for the wings - OK, not quite that easy, but do-able, I think.  :)
I try to learn from the mistakes of others who take my advice.

Re-winging a Yak 28 might be a good starting point.
