I have this kit and like what he did to this one.

I like that too.

Now if it was me (and I had half as much talent as that guy...) I'd have had the orange guy leaving right over the front on a safety harness and prodding the ground with a long pole made of random pole-like things all lashed together.....

The Blizzardgunner is really well done - the builder did some subtle but very good pimping to the kit (have built it myself, twice). Most impressive to me are the joint covers on the legs/feet, these are self-made and I wonder if they are flexible...? Nice find.
Most interestingly: my Blizzardgunner had the same paint scheme when I built for the first time OOB - I'd assume that the build as well as the diorama was inspired by Revell's boxing of this Doyusha kit.

That last one's been scanned out of Erik Simonsen's 'Project Terminated' book.

He has a whole chapter on the XV-12 and almost ALL the artwork in the book he did himself!  :o
Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Polar Bear reminds me of the US Second Ammendment to the Constitution "The Right To Arm Bears"!

Like the MaK Wallace & Gromit and wish I had some of the Cat $hit One bunnies! Love the mounted Raptors!
