might be worth a look,  the cold war book they sell has a lok of floor / ground plans  including blue steak silo plans

Didn't have the time unfortunately, but thanks for the info.

Returned from York safely and catching up with some e-mails, went through my latest Osprey update. Now we've talked about AI generated crap in a thread on site but humans are still good at it as well.

One of their latest titles is on the Battle of Koniggratz 1866. Now I've ordered this but the descrition of this title reads "An illustrated account of the action-packed combat missions carried out by the Luftwaffe's powerfully armed Junkers Ju 88C day and nightfighters.". No wonder the Austrian's lost if the Prussian's used Ju 88's against them  ;)

Obviously they left the description from one of last months releases when they put the new image in, but I wonder how many sartastical reviews etc they will get

It does bring up some interesting What If ideas, though!

Couple of shots of my recent trip to York. Decent place for a short break, lots to do/see, plenty of pubs and eateries and because there are so many competitive prices, for a Londoner anyway.

Old enough to know better, young enough (at heart) not t care.  Or, as I mentioned in the Eastwood on growing old thread: "Growing old is mandatory.  Growing up is not."

I'd almost expect to hear the Four Yorkshiremen sketch.

You 'ad four Yorkshiremen? Ooh, we woulda killed to have four Yourkshiremen. We 'ad to make do with 2 Londoners and a drunk from Canvey Island, and if we didn't memorise the skits me dad would break one of our toes each time we made a mistake!
