It's in Italy therefore a seat will be provided for you when they respond to your enquiry   ;)

I thought it was a complimentary waiter standing by with a towel to wave air into your face when you fainted (sitting in the chair so kindly provided by the management).

Italeri stuff looked pricey, the half dozen Airfix stuff very pricey.

Shop sells mostly die cast cars and other vehicles, various scales.  Some Lego, miscellaneous toys.  Not much in the way of plastic kits.

And I bet they were  :o  :o  ;)

The model shop I visited when me and my mates were in York was probably 50% die cast stuff, and some of the prices were :o , but then what do I know about this particular hobby ?

Some 1/18 die cast cars are eye wateringly expensive.  But the detail can be exquisiite.

CMC for example https://www.cmc-modelcars.de/en/produkt/cmc-alfa-romeo-p3-fagioli-gewinner-gp-comminges-1933-40/

These are the sort of model cars that are collected in their original packaging.  When they are brought to model car club meetings they invariably arrive still in the box and are very carefully taken out and shown to us.  I am rarely allowed to drive them up and down the tables making broom broom noises.
My friend has one, I think it's a CMC Aston Martin, which has real leather straps holding the bonnet closed.  He has never seen the engine because he is scared he might damage the leather undoing the straps.

Mind you, we also get people bringing their Hot Wheels collections which are still in the blister packs so its not just the expensive stuff that doesn't get played with.

I had mates, back when sabre-tooth cats ruled, who would buy two of the same Matchbox car every pocket-money day - one for the collection, one for play.

I could never see the point. Mind you, they're probably all rich & retired, now, while I'm still a working bum.

I have on a number of occasions been rather seriously questioned having dug out some ancient kit, still in it's original wrappings, just to build something fun (and not always as per instructions) from it. There is, apparently, a good number of people buying and selling kits as collectibles rather than to build them. I find that somewhat wasteful, but then again - they have opinions of me as well. I guess any nerdy hobby is as good as the next..
