So got some work done on the F-89, and found an Airfix Shorts Tucano which I will do as Irish Air Corps

Geoff

Not got much done on the Scorpion as I started thinking about Irish Air Corps models - I flit from one to another. Decided that as they looked at twin engine German a/c that a He-III would be a good choice for MP and transport. So no internal bomb racks as that is the cargo compartment. With the 2 external racks for cargo containers or bombs. I thought that the RL time line would mean an early model and as I had a Roden He-IIIE I thought -YES!
After 2 weeks of very hard graft I had the fuselage together, now if only the wings would fit!!!!!!!!!! :banghead:
So my back story is the IAC obtained a Spanish a/c second hand just around 1945/6 before they were re-engined.
So a Tamia He-IIIH is now on the blocks.

Well I have finished a Fokker D-XXI, an early Avia, and a late Avia as Irish Air Corps.
The Heinkel is built but I am still dithering about the colour scheme, but leaning towards light grey over light blue.

Also got the ex-Luftwaffe F-86 in Portuguese Ultramar war light grey with scorpions finished.

Ah well back to the F-89

I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Size (of the stash) matters.

Well it's been a crap year! Got ef all done. So started with repairs to cat damaged models. My now deceased old Tye cat was found fast asleep on the model shelf, nothing malicious, just very old cat. So 3 repairs done and now the the major job of re-winging a biplane. May up the meds for that one. :o
Not able to do shows now as I can only walk about 100yds  and drive for about 1 hour - frustrated is an understatement! :banghead:
So also working on  Yak-27R which was not bought by Poland even though the USSR had their arm up their back. Which is why they were not allowed to build the Mig-21 as the Lim-7. I was wondering if they would build from Czech plans and not have the transparent rear canopy section like the Czech S-106? Any opinions?
So not dead yet.

Not having heard from you for some  time, I was beginning to fear the worst.      Congratulations on not being dead!  We hope to hear more from you on the coming weeks.
