You can have your own image as a stamp here in the UK. Admittedly it's next to the stamp and not part of it but it still looks good. Prices work out at about 80p each.

They don't exactly publicise THAT very well, do they????
Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I agree Kit, I only know because I saw a leaflet in my Post Office and recalled the newspaper article from years back.

British "Personal" Postage Stamps

I followed the link for the British "personalized" postage stamps. Kind of disappointing.

Really, though, the personal photo is NOT a postage stamp, merely an image with a reversed-scalloped edge (and adhesive on the back?) for the similar LOOK of postage stamps. The official stamp itself is a separate "sticker". So it seems that anyone could put ANY small image next to the real stamp without paying the Guvmnt to do it.
My mind is like a compost heap: both "fertile" and "rotten"!

Not sure what the Post Office in the UK would do if you stuck any image next to the stamp ? As the stamp is legal tender over here it can get complicated.

If you frank leters you can incorporate basic images within the "poatage mark" I think ?
