I like it too, just the relative position of the main landing gear looks goofy (to me), very far forward for a tricycle arrangement.  :o

But a lot of those early converted of prop aircraft, especially those that started out with tail-wheels, shared that look.  Only those purpose built as jets didn't look that way.

Doubt that, wheels in front of the CG results in a taildragger unless it is overly nose heavy and that would make it all but unflyable...

I've  not seen this before, but it's an interesting idea.

Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

A bit short a run to get stable air into the engines, isn't it?

Those engines had a "pre-phase" that beat it into submission first

I imagine it's a re-engine with RB199s, which were a lot shorter than Avons and lighter too, so they could go right at the stern.

I like it.  The twin tail rotor concept is interesting and although prolly not necessary it is aesthetically pleasing.

A prototype piston engined H-37 flew with twin tail rotors like that, but without a skin on the pylons. There's pics of it in the recent book I bought of the type.

I like it too, first thing that came to mind is the safety of redundancy.
