Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Oooooh I like that Hornet one ! The chin intake is a great idea also, as well.

Luftwaffe Starfighter with lengthened nose for SLAR trials. Looks a lot like Fred's PR blue machine.

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Nice.  IIRC i made the extended nose of the Boobook from a 1/48 drop tank (see, there is a use for scales other than the on true one  ;D ).

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Combine those two and add F-105 wings or something similar for good measure!

Conformal fuel tanks could extend the range, this has given me an idea for a future project.

A high wing would work better with the low tail plains - an F-8 Crusader style wing (variable incidence being optional for an Air Force aircraft, of course) - it goes with the chin intake, too.  ;)

Several of the upgraded Starfighters that got to the mockup stage had exactly that (and more wing area, funnily enough):
