Mach2 has released several 1/72 BAC 1-11s in different liveries for around £50 .

There was several concepts for an MPA and AEW versions but none went into production although it was used as a test bed for engines and technical equipment.

[Later] But there's no mention of it on their web site.......................  :-\

LO's post says the Big H has 5+ in stock!  ;D

Odd how Mach2 don't mention it themselves.

Perhaps their web marketing team is funded similar to their crisp injection mold development team.....

I do credit them for taking on obscure subjects, thanks MACH2

😂👍
I think their entire management /production /design team consists of just one man?
Whatever, like  you, I think this little company deserves applause for its efforts. They must be doing something right because, despite all the criticism, they still turn 'em out.
Long may it continue.

I agree there, Mach2 do the types other majors wouldn't even think about.

I can't even see Revell doing a 1/72 Seamaster, and the Mach2 one is pretty darn good shape wise, it just needed fettling a bit to bring it up to standard.

I've built it. Not the easiest of builds but, nothing worth doing is ever easy😉😂

It cannot be mistaken for anything other than a Seamaster and, that works for me😊. Of course, if (hypothetically) Revell DID produce a kit of same, the cries of "why this when modellers worldwide are screaming out for (insert)"

I think the only likelihood of ever seeing any of the subjects that Mach 2 produces would be from  manufacturers like (for example) Takom, Mikromir or Modelcollect who, have a knack for producing oddball subjects.

So did I, back in 2017, but an RAF one. complete with IFR pod in the bomb bay, and an almost 90% scratchbuilt beaching trolly.  :banghead:

The almost endless build thread is here.

I've still got to build the RAF Stalwart to tow it in and out of the water.................  ;)

Someone else did a resin BAC 1-11, I don't recall who did it and a quick spin of Scalemates has turned up nowt.  Really nice it was, too.  John Barlow at Wor Club was showing it off a while back and he said he got it via Barry Wong.

Kit should know who I'm talking about, even if no one else does.

Kit should know, but he can't remember. :(

It does ring bells though.
