Parnall Puma Mk.I - No.25 Squadron, Air Defence of Great Britain, Royal Air Force, 1935













I've not posted for a few weeks now mainly due to this wonderful summer of sport and, indeed, the wonderful summer weather but the downside is that my 'man cave' is upstairs and absolutely roasting hot. Anyway, this is the Potez 25 masquerading as the Parnall Puma designed to meet Air Ministry Specification F.4/29 for a "general purpose" fighter aircraft to replace (among others) the 'Brisfit'. The skin that comes with the SFP1 Dev A-Team's Potez 25 is green with light blue undersurfaces but I've carefully pasted the uppersurfaces onto the undersurfaces to give an overall green night fighter scheme with the curious white outlined roundels seen on some Brisfits.

Vought O3U Corsair Mk.II - 824 Naval Air Squadron, Fleet Air Arm, Royal Air Force, 1935

















The 3D model by the SFP1 Dev A-Team is of the land-based Vought 93-S an export version of the O3U-6 for Thailand so forgive me for the lack of a visible arrestor hook. I made a simple 'silver' skin by using the specular map and everything else is decals including the angled black fuselage stripe and black fin and all based on a real Swordfish profile. I did consider making it a British aircraft but have left it as an American import.
