Focke-Wulf Fw 187P 'Falke' - 11th Fighter Regiment, Parani Army Air Force, 1943

A simple decal job of the SFP1 Dev A-Team's Fw-187 but I did paint the colourful rudders directly onto the skin map and go the extra mile by adding shading for the fabric effect. The wiki page on the Fw-187 is a good read and I noted that in October 1939, the Fw 187 V6 reached 395 mph in level flight making it the fastest fighter in Germany at the time.

Kyūshū J7W1-P 'Shinden' - 11th Regiment, Parani Army Air Force, 1946

I'm not sure why I haven't done a 'what if' using the Shinden before and I must admit I thought it was a paper project and hadn't realised that it took to the air just before the end of the war (first flight August 3rd, 1945). I've modified the existing skin by giving it a hard demarcation line and Parani insignia painted directly onto the skin although out of necessity the fuselage roundels are decals because of the way the 3D model is mapped. I did also try a distressed skin which looks quite good on plan (see below) but it just doesn't work when viewed from the side - again due to the way the 3D model is mapped.

I do like the Fw 187   One of my favourite aircraft, and I'm currently building one  ;D
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
