Hi All
It`s me birthday and the kids have done their best. I`ve got a track suit which will look good with me carpet slippers. A sticker for the wheel chair which makes me look like  I`m doing 70mph while standing still. :lol:
Them the grandkids gave me their pressie as I like airplanes. Well I may prefer LP`s to CD`s an videos to DVD`s but this was a copy of STEALTH! :o
Where do I buy the models? is there a sequal/prequal?
I know I don`t get out much because of my liabilities but HOW DID I MISS THIS ONE! B)

Happy Birthday!  Yeah, the "aircraft" in this movie certainly were the stars of the show.  I say that realizing full well that Jessica Biel is in this film.

Oh, and you're not really old until you look over the racks of tabloids at the supermarket and suddenly realize you no longer recognize any of the "celebrities" on the covers anymore.

Happy birthday!  Speaking of balsa, I am reminded of an old ad in Mad Magazine for a scale model of the USS Arizona.  The ad stated that for the purchase price, you recieved a block of balsa wood, a carving knife, and a schematic of the Arizona, along with the instructions:

"Remove anything that doesn't look like the USS Arizona"

Hey! I've built a ship just like that! Don't knock it until you've tried it.  :P

OK, sure, so I used a few precast details here and there. And some plastic sheet for the decks. And some wire and metal rod for the masts. But _most_ of the ship is carved out of balsa and basswood.

Happy birthday (really late) from one old man to another! Hope it was a good one!
