Lots of drama in the river today but as my boss was around I couldn't get any photos  :banghead:

Up by the Houses of Parliament under Lambeth Bridge there were boats searching the waters for a suspected body. A Police launch, the London Fire and Rescue boat and the RNLI lifeboat were all going up and down river while overhead we had two helicopters.
First it was the red G-EHMS MD902 from the London Air Ambulance and for a moment I thought it was going to land on the bridge!

Then we had the Met Police EC145 conducting a low level search, very loud too!

Captain Canada

Nice little show ! Hopefully there was no body tho ! And I'd think one of those NOTAR birds would be ideal for landing on a bridge !

A Harvard flew over the house yesterday....making quite the racket. I went for the camera but her never came around again, and I couldn't be arsed to drive over to the airport to take a look, as I can almost certainly guarantee I've seen the same one once or twice in Southern skies !

A chopper went over low and slow at 6am while it was still dark.  Either the police or the air ambulance I suspect.

Saw Virgin's new 787-9 G-VNEW on the 11th. First -9 I've seen and first -9 for Edinburgh Airport too I think.

The clag was so far down this morning that ANYTHING  could have flown over....the entire Russian air force.....forty-three Zeppelins...two kites and a Frisbee....and I wouldn't have seen a blasted thing!!

This is Herefordshire, so it's more likely to be an apple tree, but it's quite possible !!

If the partridge could actually FIND the apple tree in the first place. I haven't seen the River Severn all day today and it's only a mile away.

There is supposed to be one in Canada, but it's a development aircraft, not with the 'full works' package
