A couple quick pics I snapped this week...

This SW4 was having landing gear issues yesterday. It circled with only two sticks extended. In the end though it landed safely with three in the green.

While sitting on the front porch eating lunch, three F-16s were ripping up the sky above us.

A couple of departure shots of our resident FedEx Airbus.

Its not the workbench that makes the model, it is the modeler at the workbench.

Seen at about 750 to 1000 feet up, 10 miles north of Wolverhampton..........a GOODYEAR branded blimp.

....and  again above Dishforth at about 4ish in the afternoon of Thursday 31st May.   No  more than 500feet up.

Ever had that feel you are being followed ?
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Looked up the other day to see what at first I thought was an airliner heading towards Humberside through broken cloud, only to realise it was a Sentry AWACS heading back to Waddington.  They're pretty rare, I've only seen them on a few occasions.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Weren't the Sentries grounded just recently? Presumably they've fixed the problem, whatever it was.

The rotodomes probably started wandering off when no one was around to harass the local UFO nuts.

Nothing........  :banghead:

If the cloud-base was any lower here I wouldn't even be able to see my keyboard! NO chance of anyone flying anything in these parts, although we did glimpse The Reds trucking back home after a display over Portishead y'day.

Same in Carlisle!  Nearly got scratches in the car roof scraping under low cloud.

Had something with radials buzzing around near my mom's...never did get a chance to see it.  Although there was a Citroen 2CV rolling down her street.
