Its not the workbench that makes the model, it is the modeler at the workbench.

There's got to be a caption for that first one, just I can't think of one....
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

The helo pictures are from about a year ago. This guy is flying out of the West L.A. VA hospital, about a mile away:

joined by a buddy:

The final approach for the Santa Monica airport is nearby. Good thing the helo pilot saw the Cessna:

I went down to the Museum of Science and Industry in March and took this picture (actually a panorama) of the A-12 trainer on display:

There was a Vietnam War Commemorative celebration this past weekend in Green Bay Wisconsin called LZ Lambeau. Several of the era's aircraft were on display including this H-34 Seahorse and pair of UH-1s which were on their way through the nasty weather to get to the event. I snapped this as we were out for an afternoon walk. A C-47 flew over too, but it was hidden in the clouds.

About 5 minutes ago, another A-10 went overhead at low (as usual) altitude . . .
