Dragon He-219b-1

I've actually built the Airmodel He 219 conversion. I did the B with 3 person canopy. IIRC I used the Revell fuselage and the Dragon wings to the engine point then added the Airmodel wingtip extensions. This is going back at least 10 years when I was still using Squadron green putty - the damned stuff kept shrinking and cracking - lots of PSR. you also had to extend the fuselage by approx 10mm - henc e the putty problem and also 5mm at each wing root. Cannabalised the Dragon kit for the seats and radar.

It didn't turn out too bad but not my best effort. It does look kinda sexy with those long wingtips. I also long for a C conversion - never had the guts myself.
